Tim Bruns

I studied photography at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle and at the Folkwang in Essen. In Tokyo, I worked as an assistant for Muga Miyahara. Since then I have been fascinated by the dichotomy of photography: the reflective contemplation of the medium and the visual excess of the moment. I am torn between the two and cannot resolve this duality. That’s why I am working in the artistic and applied fields.
